Newcastle College is a further and higher education college, offering hundreds of vocational courses, T-Levels, degrees, Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) and apprenticeships to learners across the North East.
Newcastle College University Centre offers over 60 degrees in a wide range of areas and is based in the heart of Newcastle. Students here develop the practical skills and technical knowledge that employers really need, benefitting from fantastic facilities, industry-experienced tutors and small class sizes as they step up into their chosen career.

Undergraduate – Aesthetics and Make-Up, Art and Design, Aviation, Business, Childcare, Computing, Criminology, Policing and Criminal Law, Digital Arts, Energy, Engineering, Health and Social Care, Hospitality and Tourism, Music, Performing Arts, Rail and Civil and Sport and Exercise.
Postgraduate – Business, Childcare, Digital Arts, Education and Health and Social Care.
Student Support: We know that moving away from home can be daunting. That’s why we offer award-winning support to help you achieve your potential and feel supported while you study in Newcastle. We have support services available to help students who have learning difficulties or disabilities. We can also offer extra support outside the classroom in areas such as budgeting, wellbeing, multi-tasking and time management.

Facilities for Students: Aviation Academy, Energy Academy, Lifestyle Academy, Mandela (School of Art and Design), Parsons Building (containing childcare training rooms, a specialist counselling suite and hospital simulation wards), Performance Academy, Rail and Civil Engineering Academy, Rutherford Building (containing CAD suites and machine labs) as well as higher education-only spaces including Parsons 10 and the HE Hub.
Fees: For full-time students, our fees for 2024-25 are £9,250 per year for undergraduate courses.
Strong Industry Links: Our University Centre has strong links with local organisations and partners in the region, meaning you directly benefit from these relationships. Access to industry is a key focus for us and as a student, you will benefit from learning from industry-experienced tutors, while working on live briefs set by employers in industry-standard facilities.
